I am motivated to run as a candidate for the Conservative Party of Canada because I firmly believe I can effectively represent both the diverse needs of my community and the core values of the Conservative Party. To me, fiscal conservatism and social justice are not opposing forces; rather, they complement one another. A society thrives when individuals are empowered to achieve personal success and, in turn, contribute to the success of others. When people feel secure in their self-worth, they are better positioned to help build a strong and prosperous nation.
As a Conservative, I believe government should not be seen as the sole solution to society’s challenges. Instead, it should act as a partner and support system, providing pathways to solutions rather than imposing them. The role of government, in my view, is to offer essential services that would otherwise be unattainable for individuals, while fostering an environment where private enterprise and personal initiative can flourish. A prosperous private sector generates real societal wealth, driving the well-being and success of all Canadians.
I envision a Conservative government as one that prioritizes efficiency, effectiveness, and respect for individual autonomy. It should support citizens by being less intrusive in their daily lives while remaining steadfast in its commitment to public service. A strong government is not one that redistributes wealth arbitrarily but one that creates opportunities for all Canadians to achieve financial security and independence.
I am confident that I can represent the values of the Conservative Party and the aspirations of Canadians with integrity, fairness, and dedication. My life and work experiences have given me a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities faced by our diverse population. I have had the privilege of working with people from a wide range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds—from multigenerational Canadians to newcomers, and from Indigenous communities to people of varying ages, abilities, and skillsets.
These experiences have taught me the importance of listening, understanding, and finding common ground. They have also strengthened my resolve to represent the people of Burnaby North–Seymour with honesty, fairness, and success. I am committed to addressing their concerns, championing their aspirations, and ensuring their voices are heard in Parliament.
My goal is to contribute to a Canada that embraces fiscal responsibility, personal accountability, and social inclusivity—a Canada where opportunity is abundant, government is efficient, and everyone is empowered to be their best. This is why I seek the opportunity to represent the Conservative Party of Canada and the constituents of Burnaby North–Seymour as their Member of Parliament.
The other question we are asked as potential candidates is :
How will my employment and life experience prepare me for MP?
The role of a Member of Parliament (MP) is to represent constituents and make decisions in the best interest of the country and its people. Personal life experiences provide a foundation for understanding others and navigating life’s complexities.
